Fairmont Room (Formerly the Classic Room): Fairmont Rooms offer HSIA and are large accommodations with 1 King or 2 Double beds, a writing desk with fax machine and lounge table with 2 chairs. Central Park Premier: Central Park Premier rooms offer HSIA and have either 1 King or 2 Double beds with Frette linen. Central Park Suite: The Central Park Suites offer HSIA. There are 21 of these 1-Bedroom Suites and 4 of them can become a 2-Plaza Hotel  SuiteBedroom Central Park Suite. The master bedroom has 1 Queen or 1 King bed with bathroom and there is a separate parlor. VCR player. The 1-Bedroom Suite has 1 bathroom, which is a full marble bath, located off the bedroom.

The 2-Bedroom Suite would have 2 bathrooms (there is no bathroom in the parlor, only in the bedrooms). Fifth Avenue Suite: All equipped with HSIA. There are thirteen 1-Bedroom Fifth Avenue Suites at The Plaza. Seven of the suites can become a 2-Bedroom Suite by connecting to a Fairmont Deluxe with King bed. Fifth Avenue Suites are beautifully decorated oversize suites with separate parlor.

The suite has one bathroom, which is a full marble bath, located off the bedroom, or two bathrooms in the 2-Bedroom Suite. Plaza Suite: All equipped with HSIA and flat-screen computers. There are 22 1-Bedroom Plaza Suites, available with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. The bedroom has 1 King bed and there is a separate parlor and 2nd or 3rd bedroom options (each would have a King bed).The Plaza Specialty Suites have been magnificently restored (2003) and subtly modernized to offer comfort and luxury with fine period detail.

MEETING PLANNING The Plaza has a total of 25,986 square footage of space, featuring 18 function rooms and the World-famous Grand Ballroom with capacities from 20 to 600 people respectively.

All rooms have been restored in 18th Century Louis XV and XVI décor with silk walls and murals depicting the name of suites, marble fireplaces, and antique crystal chandeliers. The Conference Services staff can handle business meeting arrangements in the banquet rooms as well as in guest rooms and suites. SPECIAL EVENT PLANNING In New York, when you think of weddings, you inevitably think of The Plaza.

For the bride, having a fete at The Plaza is the ultimate reality. On her special day, she ascends the portico steps with her retinue of bridesmaids, family, and friends. There is a tempting selection of desserts including a variety of flavored Crème Brulée and The Plaza's famous cheesecake.

Our classic American steakhouse, is recognized by its sophisticated oak paneling, 25 foot high ceilings, smooth leatherback chairs and mid-century tapestries. The Oak Bar: Hours of Operation Daily, 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 midnight. Located near the front desk and overlooking Central Park, the Oak Bar is New York's most famous watering hole. The Oak bar serves drinks to leading New York celebrities, business people and travelers seven days a week. Wines offered by the glass, fine martinis and upscale cigars create the best bar in New York. Dress Code: Business Casual. The Palm Court: The Palm Court is located in the center of the lobby level, just off the 5th Avenue lobby. The Palm Court was modeled after the winter garden in London's Hotel Carlton and has long been recognized as one of the premier meeting places in New York City. Offers the 'Best of the Best' caviar and champagne and a Mediterranean lunch special. Home of New York City's favorite Sunday Brunch. One CPS: Hours of Operation Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Dinner: 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Located across the lobby from the Front Desk, One CPS is a privately owned (not by The Plaza) old-fashioned trendy restaurant, that has an open and airy atmosphere with modern and antique touches. The menu features new interpretations of casual American cuisine. Items range in price from $8.50 to $27.50 for appetizers and $19.00 to $39.00 for main entrées. Driving Directions

Take Van Wyck Expressway North to Long Island Expressway West to Queens-Midtown Tunnel. -Go through tunnel. -Once through tunnel bear right onto 37th Street. -At first traffic light make a right onto 3rd Avenue. -Take 3rd Avenue to 6th Street and make a left onto 60th Street to 5th Avenue. -Cross 5th Avenue bearing left around traffic circle to light. The Plaza Hotel is straight ahead.

Take Grand Central Parkway west to Triboro Bridge. -Exit right for Manhattan, pay toll and bear left for FDR Drive South. -Take FDR South to 63rd Street exit. -Turn right onto 63rd Street to 5th Avenue. -Make a left onto 5th Avenue to 6th Street. -Make a right onto 6th Street following traffic circle around to the light. The Plaza is straight ahead.
